The Role

The role is to work as a ALN Teaching Assistant within a Special School supporting an adapted curriculum across key stages in a 3-19 provision. You will be supporting the Teacher in a class with no more than 8 pupils. 

 

Ideally the candidate would be looking to start immediately.

Revised Recruitment Group are working with a large ALN school in Cardiff who have been recognised as excellent by Estyn in their latest inspection. The school supports pupils aged 3-19 with Autism and/ or profound and complex needs. The school prides itself on a positive, inclusive, and welcoming ethos.

What you will need to succeed

• Have a passion for the education of children and working with pupils with learning difficulties. 

• Have the ability to form effective working relationships with pupils, staff and parents. 

• You will act as a positive role model for pupils with ALN.

Previous experience in schools is not essential as training will be provided. If you have had previous experience in supporting ALN or have an interest in doing so- please get in touch.
